Major League Baseball’s Molina brothers are known for their superior catching skills but certainly not for their speed.

The middle brother, Tampa Bay Rays catcher Jose Molina, proved that Wednesday.

During the fourth inning of Tampa Bay’s contest with the Oakland Athletics, outfielder Kevin Kiermaier hit a two-run home run, with Molina on first base. Molina apparently knew it was a home run before Kiermaier did because he was already trotting around the bases as Kiermaier rounded second at full speed.

Still, Molina wasn’t in any hurry to get to home plate, and Kiermaier wound up jogging a few feet behind him the rest of the way.
