The 2013-2014 season ended a bit too early for the Boston Bruins, who were bounced from the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs by the Montreal Canadiens.
For several Bruins players, though, the season ended even earlier.
Defensemen Dennis Seidenberg and Adam McQuaid and forward Chris Kelly were among the players sidelined for a significant period of time last season.
As Boston gears up for a new season with training camp right around the corner, all eyes will be on the now-healthy trio as they hope to make an impact in 2014-15.
On Wednesday’s episode of “NESN Sports Today,” Billy Jaffe and Andy Brickley discussed the importance of having those players back in the lineup.
“(These are) three veteran guys that mean a lot to the Bruins and the way they play the game,” Brickley said. “We’ll keep a close eye on them.”
