Doug McDermott’s Former College Roommate Selling Clothes He Left In Omaha

Doug McDermott is going to be in need of a major shopping trip pretty soon, and he has his former roommate Michael Vandevoort to thank for that.

Vandevoort, who lived with the 6-foot-8 small forward during their Creighton days, is ensuring that McDermott has no choice but to update his wardrobe — largely because he’s selling the entire wardrobe. Dougie McBuckets apparently left behind a closet full of clothes when he moved to Chicago after being drafted No. 11 by the Bulls on draft night, so his old pal is planning on making a few bucks off of him.

Just kidding, it’s all for a good cause, as proceeds from the sale will benefit a youth basketball program.

McDermott has given his blessing, at least electronically, to the moving sale by retweeting the announcement, so he must not be too broken up about saying goodbye to his old threads.
