Patriots Redskins FootballFOXBORO, Mass. — New England Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner made an early return from his four-game suspension.

Browner was spotted working out by himself on the Gillette Stadium game field while the rest of the Patriots were on the practice fields. Browner hasn’t been spotted since his four-game suspension began on Aug. 31.

Patriots defensive tackle Sealver Siliga was the lone player absent from practice. He was removed and didn’t return from from Sunday’s Week 3 16-9 win over the Oakland Raiders with a foot injury.

Browner is allowed at Gillette Stadium because he’s serving a suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Players suspended for performance-enhancing drugs, like Patriots wide receiver Brian Tyms, are not allowed in team facilities.
