Ray Lewis was anything but understated during his 17-year NFL career, and the unveiling of his statue was no different.
The Baltimore Ravens legend was on hand outside M&T Bank Stadium Thursday morning as the team unveiled a brand-new statue that shows Lewis doing his trademark pregame “squirrel dance.”
The unveiling was accompanied with a burst of flames from Lewis’ rear end, because why not?

Lewis’ eternal place in Ravens history is certainly well-deserved, as he earned Pro Bowl honors in 13 of his 17 seasons in Baltimore and ended his career as one of the most feared linebackers of all time. His statue was erected next to another local icon, Baltimore Colts quarterback Johnny Unitas.
As expected, the 39-year-old, who joined ESPN as an analyst in March 2013, commemorated the occasion by busting out his signature dance one more time.
