NFL: St. Louis Rams at Carolina PanthersThe NFL is having a tough time hanging on to sponsors nowadays.

Procter & Gamble is reportedly the latest company to pull out of a partnership due to off-field incidents in the league, sources told CBS Sports on Thursday. The company was supposed launch a league-wide breast cancer initiative on behalf of Crest toothpaste.

The campaign, which would have taken place during October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, originally involved players from all 32 teams acting as “ambassadors” of the initiative. The players would have worn pink mouth guards and engaged in social media promotions.

P&G reportedly notified these players that all money that had been designated as donations will still go toward cancer charities, but the rest of the campaign has been dissolved.
