Patriots Fill Practice Squad; Josh Boyce, Jake Bequette Among 10 Players

Josh BoyceFOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots finalized their practice squad on Monday.

The Patriots signed wide receiver Josh Boyce, defensive end Jake Bequette, offensive lineman Chris Martin, safety Kanorris Davis, linebackers Ja’Gared Davis and Deontae Skinner, cornerback Daxton Swanson, quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, long snapper Charley Huglett and running back Jonas Gray to their practice squad on Monday. All 10 players were present in the Patriots’ locker room before practice.

Ja’Gared Davis and Skinner fill important depth at linebacker, where the Patriots have just four players on their active roster. Bethel-Thompson will serve as the team’s third quarterback after the Patriots traded Ryan Mallett to the Houston Texans.
