Black is back for the Tampa Bay Lightning — for better or worse.
The Bolts have been teasing their new third jersey for some time now, and the team unveiled the new threads Saturday at its annual fan fest.
Fans might think they’re a little, well, underwhelming. The new sweaters look a lot like the team’s most recent third jerseys with the only difference being the new version is black.
Maybe the Lightning actually should have stayed with these palm tree-heavy prank jerseys they fooled the players with.
