The biggest question for the Baltimore Ravens entering Thursday night’s rivalry showdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers was how they would deal with all the Ray Rice distractions.

Linebacker Terrell Suggs made it clear that it wouldn’t be an issue when he wore a mighty gladiator mask during the Ravens’ pregame introductions.

Unfortunately, the NFL wouldn’t allow Suggs to wear the gladiator mask during the game. However, Suggs backed up the Ravens’ focus and his own mightiness by helping his team hold Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers to just six points in a 26-6 victory.

Perhaps the mask was a symbol of the Ravens’ strength throughout a tumultuous week. There’s no doubt the team received some solace from a big performance and win over a divisional opponent.
