UMass kicker Blake Lucas needed a hug after missing an opportunity to tie up the game against Vanderbilt and send it into overtime.
He received one, but it probably wasn’t exactly what he was looking for.
Vanderbilt defensive lineman Adam Butler gave Lucas a celebratory bear hug after he missed his 22-yard chance wide left to give Vandy a 34-31 victory. The Minutemen were up 31-20 until the Commodores stormed back to earn the win.
