Vladimir Guerrero compiled 449 home runs and 1,496 RBIs during his 16-year major league career and probably still appears in pitchers’ nightmares.

His son, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., hopes to dominate baseball the same way, and he recently showed that he has been blessed by a lot of his father’s athletic genes.

The younger Guerrero is just 15, but he’s already tearing the cover off the ball. A video emerged of the slugger’s son ripping line drives and deep fly balls off batting-practice pitches.

Guerrero Jr. already stands at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds and has plenty of years to grow. There’s a good chance he’ll receive some looks from scouts since he’s eligible to sign with any team next summer.

Australian dad Tim Bower no longer will have to spend any money on his daughter after winning a crazy bet involving a basketball trick shot.

As Bower gets ready to make a behind-the-back shot, his daughter exclaims, “If this goes in, I will not make you pay one more dollar for anything I want.”

Bower’s daughter will regret that for the rest of her life because after he released the ball, it caromed off a fence behind the backboard and swished into the net.

No word if the Harlem Globetrotters have contacted Mr. Bower yet.
