Rhiannon ConelleySome things simply don’t have a price. For Rhiannon Conelley, a chance to meet Neymar was one such thing.

Conelley, a 16-year-old junior goalkeeper at Americas High School in El Paso, Texas, recently won the grand prize in a sweepstakes held by Brazilian soda manufacturer Guarana Antarctica. Conelley could have taken a $10,000 cash prize but chose the other grand prize — a chance to meet Brazilian soccer star Neymar — because she saw it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, according to the El Paso Times.

“I just wanted to meet Neymar. I thought that was more important than the $10,000,” Conelley said. “Everyone disagrees with that, but I’m sticking to my guns.”

Conelley will fly to Spain for her meet-and-greet with Neymar sometime before July 31, 2015.

“It feels good,” Conelley said. “I mean to go to Spain and meet your idol, it feels awesome.”

Conelley might or might not have some serious questions for the 22-year-old.

“I’ll ask him if he wants to marry me,” Conelley joked.

She then said she wouldn’t propose to the Barcelona and Brazil forward. “I don’t want to scare him too much,” she said. “I don’t want him to call security to kick me out.”

Conelley’s decision was unpopular in some circles. Do you agree with it? Vote now.
