Bruins Recall Seth Griffith From Providence; Craig Cunningham Sent Down

Seth GriffithThe Boston Bruins made a roster move Sunday morning.

The B’s announced that they have recalled forward Seth Griffith from Providence. Additionally, the club sent forward Craig Cunningham down to make room for Griffith on the roster.

Griffith joined the team at practice Sunday morning to begin the first NHL regular season recall of his career. He was skating at right wing on the Bruins’ top line alongside center David Krejci and left winger Milan Lucic.

Griffith had been effective in the first two games of the P-Bruins’ season. He registered a goal to go along with a plus-3 rating.

Griffith notched 20-30-50 totals with Providence last season.

Cunningham appeared in the Bruins’ first three games on the team’s fourth line. He averaged 11:26 of ice time per game and registered two shots on goal.
