Buster Posey basked in the national television spotlight Thursday night after leading the San Francisco Giants to the World Series for the third time in five years.

That is, until his young son, Lee, stole his thunder.

The Giants catcher was holding LeeĀ in his arms while being interviewed by FOX’s Erin Andrews after the game. Lee, clearly oblivious to the gravity of the situation, seemed a little upset.

Andrews noticed and asked the kid, “Lee, are you all right? You’re going to the World Series. I need you to get it together here.”

Lee eventually did get it together and started muttering gibberish into the microphone and simultaneously made every ecstatic Giants fan in America stop for a second and say, “Aww.”

Madison Bumgarner won NLCS MVP honors, but the beer-chugging pitcher was no match for the younger Posey.
