Geno Smith scrambled out of bounds just before halftime Thursday night at Gillette Stadium and was lucky enough to get the first down. A female security guard, however, wasn’t so lucky during the whole ordeal.
The New York Jets quarterback was knocked off course by New England Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins, and the hit sent Smith careening toward the unsuspecting security guard, whose back was to the field. Apparently, no one gave the poor woman a heads up, and Smith accidentally knocked her down.
The woman seemed just fine, as she started to get up on her own before Smith went to help her. Honestly, we’re blaming the ball boy for this one because he just watched it all go down.
