The Toronto Maple Leafs brought the firepower to Madison Square Garden on Sunday night.

All of their big names have found the score sheet, including winger James van Riemsdyk, who netted his first goal of the season on a shorthanded breakaway.

The Rangers turned the puck over in the Leafs’ zone when center J.T. Miller fanned on a snap shot attempt, leaving van Riemsdyk off to the races for the one-on-one chance with Henrik Lundqvist, who had already given up three goals on the night.

Advantage, JVR.

Lundqvist apparently thought he had stopped the puck between his knees before realizing it had actually slipped behind him across the goal line.

The Swedish netminder allowed two more goals to Tyler Bozak and David Clarkson before being pulled with 4:47 remaining in the second period. The Leafs went on to win 6-3.
