Johnny Hockey finally is on the score sheet this season.

Johnny Gaudreau scored his first goal of the 2014-15 season for the Calgary Flames with a pretty power-play tally against the Winnipeg Jets. The former Boston College star beat Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec on a wrap-around that broke a second-period tie and eventually became the game-winner in the Flames’ 4-1 road victory.

Gaudreau was all smiles as he celebrated his second NHL career goal with his teammates. His first goal came last season on April 13 during his Flames debut.

Gaudreau picked up his first assist of the season less than three minutes later on Mason Raymond’s goal.
