The Los Angeles Kings won Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Wild, but not before they had a major brain fart.

Less than three minutes into the game, the Kings were called for having too many men on the ice during what was supposed to be a shift change. Eight men, to be exact.

This wasn’t one of those unfortunate circumstances when someone was caught trying to get over the boards, as all eight players (nine, actually, if you count the goaltender) clearly were on the ice at the same time.

The most hilarious part of the botched change might be Tanner Pearson, who somehow was near the Wild’s bench while the other seven Kings were at the other end of the ice.

The Kings eventually got it together, scoring both goals in their 2-1 win with the appropriate number of men in play.
