LaVar Arrington: I Didn’t Use ‘White Face’ For J.J. Watt Costume (Photo)

LaVar Arrington’s Halloween costume was very realistic — too realistic for some.

The former linebacker appeared on NFL Network’s “NFL AM” on Friday morning dressed as Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt. Arrington depicted Watt with a bloody nose, mimicking photos from when Watt played through a gruesome nose injury.

Arrington obviously nailed that part of the costume. Where he raised some eyebrows, however, was with his “white” makeup, aka “white face.”

However, Arrington quickly shot down any accusations of racial insensitivity.
