In most cases, it’s pretty easy to distinguish between professional athletes and your average guy on the street. This isn’t one of those cases.
On Friday, a commenter on the Detroit Red Wings blog “Winging It In Motown” decided to have a little fun by imploring fans to find some non-hockey friends, send them a picture of Toronto Maple Leafs forward Phil Kessel and ask those friends what they thought Kessel did for a living. The results were spectacular.

Encouraged by these awesome responses, TSN’s “Bar Down” blog branched out by using pictures of other “famous” NHL stars, including Alexander Ovechkin, Mario Lemieux and Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara. The results continued to be spectacular.
