Derek Jeter could be having the most epic week ever.
The Captain retired last Sunday, but he might have another life milestone up his sleeve this weekend. The retired New York Yankee has a massive secret (well, not anymore) party planned at a historic castle on Long Island, TMZ Sports reported Friday.
The famous Oheka Castle was used for the exterior shots of Kane’s mansion in the classic film “Citizen Kane,” but it’s unclear what kind of festivities Jeter has planned there. According to some TMZ Sports sources, the shindig simply is a retirement party for No. 2, but other sources insist Jeter has secretly planned a wedding.
The 40-year-old Jeter, who’s had his fair share of well-publicized romances, has been dating 24-year-old model Hannah Davis for the last couple of years, and there are conflicting reports about whether they’re engaged.
