Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks were the recipient of a good old-fashioned butt whoopin’ Tuesday night.

The No. 5 Jayhawks were stomped out by No. 1 Kentucky 72-40 in front of a national TV audience. The loss was so bad that the Kansas head coach was looking for a stiff drink after the game.

We’ve all been there, Coach, especially after a rough day at the office.

The good news for Self and the Jayhawks is that the season is still very young. Still, if KU and UK run into each other down the road, Self might want to have a bottle of the hard stuff available just in case.
