Red Sox 2015 Spring Training Schedule: Pitchers, Catchers Report Feb. 20

The countdown is on.

The Boston Red Sox announced their 2015 spring training schedule Wednesday. Pitchers and catchers will report to Fort Myers, Fla., on Feb. 20 and host their first workouts Feb. 21. Position players will hold their first workouts Feb. 25.

The Red Sox will open their exhibition season March 3 with a single-admission doubleheader against the Northeastern University Huskies and Boston College Eagles.

Boston’s Grapefruit League slate will begin March 5 with a showdown against the Minnesota Twins at Hammond Stadium. The Red Sox’s first Grapefruit League home game at JetBlue Park is scheduled for March 6 against the Miami Marlins.

The Red Sox’s equipment truck will depart Fenway Park en route to Fort Myers on Feb. 12. The Sox then will host an open house at JetBlue Park on Feb. 28, in which fans can walk around the park while enjoying concessions and entertainment.

The 2015 season is the Red Sox’s fourth spring training at JetBlue Park. The complete schedule is below.
