Juventus scored plenty of goals against Parma on Sunday, but Carlos Tevez’s first stands out above the rest.

Tevez scored a superb solo goal in Juventus’ 7-0 win over Parma in Italy’s Serie A (first division), highlighting both his outstanding season and his team’s dominance of its opponent.

Juventus already was leading 3-0 in the 50th minute when Tevez, 30, started dribbling in his own half. Tevez beat three defenders over his 70-yard sprint before slotting his shot past goalkeeper Antonio Mirante.

Tevez added another, less spectacular, goal eight minutes later.

Tevez and fellow strikers Fernando Llorente and Alvaro Morata each scored two goals in Juventus’ blowout of Parma.

The result was Juventus’ biggest Serie A win in 29 years. The Italian giant leads the Serie A standings with 28 pooints after 11 games.

Tevez now leads Serie A with eight goals in 10 league games.

It’s no wonder why Argentina recently recalled Tevez to the national team for the first time in three years.
