“Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” has been on TV a few times in recent days, and apparently Carmelo Anthony caught one of those showings.

The New York Knicks star made a questionable fashion decision on Friday night after his team’s 110-99 loss to the Brooklyn Nets. As part of Anthony’s postgame attire, he wore a pretty ridiculous silver and blue top hat.

The hat, which seems like it was either borrowed from Willy Wonka, Harry Dunne or Snow Miser, quickly made its rounds on the Internet, which means there were plenty of jokes.

Ugly as that hat might be, it looks pretty good compared to Melo’s 5-for-20 shooting performance against Brooklyn.
