Eli Manning Throws Awful Interception With No Giants Near Ball (Video)

The New York Giants provided a microcosm for their woeful offensive performance this season on Sunday.

The Giants have looked downright inept with the football at times this season, and despite an early touchdown Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, there was still plenty to nitpick.

The offense looked no worse than it did in the second quarter when Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw his seventh interception of the season. It was a curious throw to say the least as there really weren’t any Giants receivers in the area, at least none close enough to even think about making a play on the ball.

That’s not necessarily Manning’s fault. We’re going to go out on a limb and assume there was some sort of miscommunication there. Regardless, it’s just the latest in a long line of Giants offensive lowlights this season.
