Jose Canseco is a prankster. Just not a very good one, apparently.
After shooting his middle finger off and having it reattached, the former MLB slugger said it fell off again during a poker tournament. He then expressed interest in selling the detached finger on eBay.
It turns out the finger never actually fell off, according to TMZ Sports, and it was just one big hoax pulled off by Canseco.
He told TMZ Sports that he came up with the idea of using the extremely bizarre prank when he saw a fake finger in a Halloween store.
It remains unclear which Canseco moment is more strange: The finger incident, or his random Twitter rant about outer space.
