Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson might be the the “Splash Brothers,” but they’re certainly not the “Splash Twins.”
But don’t tell that to one gullible fan, who might not be the biggest diehard around.
One half of the Golden State Warriors backcourt, Klay Thompson, recently made a trip to a local Chipotle, where he was recognized as an NBA player and that’s about it. The “fan” had no idea who Thompson was, so when she asked what his name was, he did the only logical thing he could do — he said he was Steph Curry.
According to her Instagram caption, it wasn’t until later that she realized Thompson pulled a fast one on her. Fortunately, she had quite the sense of humor about it.
“Played us Hahahaahahahahaha. We didnt know he wasn’t stephen curry until …..later hahahaha wish we knew who he was initially,” she wrote on Instagram. “Moded #WhoGares #LakerGang #StephenCurry #KlayThompson #PerksOfLivingInOakland #StillCool hahaha
