Lance Stephenson’s flop Saturday against the Golden State Warriors was so bizarre, you almost have to respect it.
The Charlotte Hornets guard made contact with Warriors forward Harrison Barnes in the first quarter, which led to Stephenson somehow slapping himself in the face and committing a flop for the ages.
We’ve seen our share of epic flops this season, but Stephenson’s self-induced flop takes it to a whole different level. The play ended up drawing a foul, so at least Stephenson’s arm-flailing effort was successful.
