After being reinstated from suspension earlier this week, Ray Rice is already drawing interest from multiple teams.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints are among at least four teams that have looked into the former Baltimore Ravens running back. The Colts, however, “are not expected to pursue him,” Schefter writes, citing multiple league sources.

Despite losing Ahmad Bradshaw for the season, ESPN’s Ed Werder reported on Nov. 18 that the Colts would not be interested in signing Rice.

Schefter’s sources did not identify the other two teams interested in Rice.

It would make sense for the Saints, tied with the Atlanta Falcons for first place in the NFC South, to make a push for Rice, as they have dealt with numerous injuries to their running backs this season, according to Schefter.

“Multiple NFL executives have said the profile of a team willing to sign Rice would be one that is a contender, with a strong-minded head coach, with injuries in its backfield,” Schefter writes.

Although Rice is technically able to play this season, it is more likely that he’ll sign with a team in the offseason, Schefter reports.

Rice was suspended indefinitely by the NFL back in September and was released by the Baltimore Ravens after violent video emerged of him punching his now-wife in an Atlantic City elevator. On Friday, an arbitrator overturned the suspension, making him eligible to sign with any team in the league.

UPDATE (9:08 a.m.): Like the Colts, the Saints are reportedly not planning on pursuing Rice either.
