Jay CulterThe Chicago Bears host the Dallas Cowboys on “Thursday Night Football,” with Dallas looking to hang steady with Philadelphia in the NFC East division race.

The Cowboys opened as a 4.5-point favorite, and the line has moved to 4 points at some sportsbooks. The total is set at 51 points.

The Cowboys are 8-4 straight up and 6-6 against the spread on the season, while the Bears are 5-7 SU and ATS. Dallas is 4-1 ATS in its last five road games, but 1-4 ATS in its last five games overall. Chicago is 3-11-1 in its last 15 home games. In the last six games between these two teams, Chicago is 4-2 SU and ATS, and some have picked the Bears to pull off the upset on Thursday.

The total has gone OVER in the last four games between these two, but has gone UNDER in five of the last seven games in Chicago. The total has gone OVER in four of the last five games in which Dallas has been on the road, but gone UNDER in four of the last five in which Chicago has been at home. The OddsShark Computer predicts a 27-16 Dallas victory. That would cover the spread, and hit the UNDER.

Dallas is in good shape from an injury perspective. They have eight starters listed as probable, including quarterback Tony Romo, and all are expected to play. Chicago, on the other hand, has several questions. The team listed kicker Robbie Gould as doubtful with a quadriceps injury, and Chicago signed Jay Feely earlier in the week as a short-term replacement in the cold weather. The Bears also listed wide receiver Alshon Jeffery as questionable with hamstring injury. He has had the hamstring issue for some time but he continues to play through the injury.

New England opened as a field-goal favorite on the road against San Diego for Week 14, and the line has climbed to 3.5 points or 4 points at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The total opened at 50.5, but has climbed to 51 points. This game marks the fourth time in 2014 that the Patriots have been a road favorite; they are 1-2 SU and ATS in such games.

The Patriots remain fairly healthy. Shane Vereen, Julian Edelman, Brandon LaFell, and Chandler Jones were all limited in practice on Wednesday, but Jones is the only one at this point who is a question mark for Sunday.
