Overtime, 2:10, 3-3: Seth Griffith is unable to handle a centering pass with an open net and the game continues.

Overtime, 0:01, 3-3: Play has resumed. The Bruins begin overtime with the Patrice Bergeron line plus Dougie Hamilton.

End of Regulation, 3-3

Third Period, 17:21, 3-3: The Bruins attempted three shots in the final 10 seconds and all of them barely missed the net. We’re headed to overtime.

Third Period, 17:21, 3-3: Dougie Hamilton makes a great centering pass for Milan Lucic at the top of the crease, but the Bruins forward deflects the puck up and over the net.

Third Period, 11:30, 3-3: Bruins still are spending the majority of the period in the Leafs zone but most of their shots are from the perimeter. Shots on goal are even at 21.

Third Period, 6:31, 3-3: The Leafs hit the post during a scramble in front of the Bruins net, and then the B’s had an extended shift in the offensive zone with three shot attempts. Crazy start to the third period. The David Krejci line is dominating the Leafs this period by winning puck battles and working an aggressive forecheck.

Third Period, 2:06, 3-3: The JVR penalty has expired and we’re back to 5-on-5.

Second Period, 18:31, 3-3: David Krejci now has been awarded with Boston’s third goal instead of Torey Krug.

Second Period, 17:31, 3-3: Torey Krug makes a centering pass into the crease intended for David Krejci and the puck bounces off two Toronto players and past Jonathan Bernier. The luck is turning in Boston’s favor, but its last two goals were aided by crashing the net. That’s something the Bruins failed to do for the first half of the game.

Second Period, 15:28, 3-2 Toronto: David Krejci fires a shot from the wall toward net and Jonathan Bernier hits the puck out into the slot, where it bounced off Cody Franson and into the net. A lucky break for Boston slices the Toronto lead to a single goal.

Second Period, 13:00, 3-1 Toronto:

Second Period, 11:33, 3-1 Toronto: The Leafs nearly score at the end of a lengthy attacking-zone shift. The Nazem Kadri line is on fire at the moment. Toronto is controlling the majority of 5-on-5 shot attempts this period and have a 17-10 SOG edge overall.

Second Period, 9:45, 3-1 Toronto: Phil Kessel scores on the power play with a wrist shot from inside the left faceoff circle that beat Tuukka Rask glove side. It’s his first goal in seven games.

Second Period, 9:08, 2-1 Toronto: Kevan Miller interferes with Nazem Kadri along the end boards in the Bruins’ zone and takes a penalty. Toronto will go back to the power play.

Second Period, 8:15, 2-1 Toronto: Neither team is making a strong push for the next goal. The Bruins certainly aren’t playing with the intensity that they showed in Monday’s win over the Red Wings.

Second Period, 0:48, 2-1 Toronto: It didn’t take long for the Leafs to regain the lead. James van Riemsdyk beat everyone down the slot and scored on Tuukka Rask.

Second Period, 0:19, 1-1: Carl Soderberg has scored on the power play to tie the score. Soderberg tipped a Reilly Smith shot from the point past Jonathan Bernier. It’s Boston’s fourth PPG in the last five games, including tonight.

Second Period, 0:01, 1-0 Toronto: Play has resumed and Boston as 1:20 left on its power play.

End of First Period, 1-0 Toronto

First Period, 17:51, 1-0 Toronto: Zdeno Chara slashes Phil Kessel on a breakaway and the Leafs forward was awarded a penalty shot, which he failed to capitalize on because of a good Tuukka Rask pokecheck.

First Period, 16:19, 1-0 Toronto: Leafs score, but the referee closest to the play waives off the goal because of a distinct kicking motion. Replay confirms and the call of “no goal” stood after a formal review.

First Period, 9:56, 0-0: Tuukka Rask quickly moves from right to left and makes a great glov save to deny Morgan Rielly of a goal.

First Period, 9:13, 0-0: Zdeno Chara and James van Riemsdyk are involved in a scrum in the Bruins zone and both receive roughing penalties. We’ll have a 4-on-3 Leafs power play for 1:00.

First Period, 6:29, 0-0: Up until the last minute when the Winnik-Kadri-Kessel line had nearly 45 seconds of attacking-zone time against Boston’s fourth line, the Bruins have controlled most of play and currently have a 10-5 shots attempts advantage.

It appears that Zach Trotman and Jordan Caron will be the healthy scratches tonight.

6:35 pm: Tuukka Rask (Boston) and Jonathan Bernier (Toronto) lead their teams onto the ice for the pre-game skate and will start in net.

6:15 pm: BOSTON — The Bruins will receive a boost Wednesday night when center Patrice Bergeron and left winger Milan Lucic return to the lineup after missing Monday’s 5-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings.

B’s head coach Claude Julien confirmed the news during his media availability before Wednesday’s Atlantic Division showdown between the Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs at TD Garden.

It will be interesting to see how Julien puts together his lineup with two top-six forwards returning.

Brad Marchand and Reilly Smith usually play alongside Bergeron, but they skated with Krejci on Monday night. That line played well and Smith scored his ninth goal of the season. Will Julien break them up and revert back to his normal top-six configuration? We’ll have to wait until warmups to find out.
