The Arizona Cardinals have had plenty of quarterback problems this season, so Darnell Dockett reached out to a retired team legend.

The defensive end tweeted at Kurt Warner, just to check in, after Thursday night’s 12-6 win over the St. Louis Rams. Drew Stanton was carted off the field with a knee injury during the third quarter.

Warner would have been all for helping out his former team, but unfortunately, he didn’t believe he’d be able to get into game shape.

Besides Dockett, fans on Twitter tried to woo Warner with the hashtag “#ComeBackKurt.”

Stanton is the second Cardinals QB to go down this season. Starter Carson Palmer missed three games with a dead nerve in his shoulder earlier this season before tearing his ACL on Nov. 9, coincidentally during a game against the Rams.

Stanton is considered week to week with a knee sprain. In the meantime, it looks as though third-year backup Ryan Lindley will step up for Arizona.
