Joe Buck Rips Johnny Manziel During Telecast Of Different Game (Video)

Joe Buck is not a member of the Johnny Manziel fan club.

Manziel made his first career NFL start Sunday afternoon, and things didn’t go very well for the rookie. Manziel completed 10 of 18 passes for just 80 yards to go along with a pair of interceptions. He struggled with clock management and even handing off the football. In a word, his first start was a nightmare.

That sort of performance was welcomed by plenty of fans and media alike who’ve not only predicted but probably hoped Manziel would struggle in his NFL career.

Apparently Buck falls into that group. Buck and Troy Aikman were calling a game between San Francisco and Seattle later in the day for FOX, and Buck — for whatever reason — decided to take a shot at Manziel.

By the way, Aikman’s being a little modest. He completed 17 of 35 passes for 180 yards and two picks in his first start. That was good for a 40.2 passer rating, which is Hall of Fame stuff compared to Manziel’s showing Sunday.
