Head coach Mike Pettine hasn’t decided who his starting quarterback will be when the Cleveland Browns host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, but LeBron James didn’t hide his feelings about wanting Johnny Manziel under center.

Manziel made his first meaningful appearance at quarterback in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills. In his first drive, Manziel capped an eight-play, 80-yard drive with a rushing touchdown. He finished the game completing five out of eight passes for 63 yards.

Meanwhile, Brian Hoyer has thrown just one touchdown and six interceptions over his last four games. Manziel’s performance in the fourth quarter was enough for him to get the King’s vote over Hoyer.

James and Manziel have been good friends ever since the quarterback was drafted in April. Manziel has appeared courtside at a few Cleveland Cavaliers games, and James was photographed wearing a “Money Manziel” shirt earlier this year.

Unfortunately for Manziel, only Pettine’s decision matters, and that won’t come until later this week.
