Nets Coach Lionel Hollins Not ‘Crazy’ About Prince William, Dutchess Kate

Lionel Hollins doesn’t understand why everyone is making such a darn big deal over Prince William and Dutchess Kate’s visit to the U.S.

Like most of the players and coaches at Monday’s game between the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers, Nets coach Lionel Hollins was asked what he thought of the royals’ visit. His response: Not much.

“I don’t like answering those questions,” Hollins said, via Nets Daily. “What does it mean to me, or any normal person?”

While it seems like the rest of humanity is going “crazy” over the royal visit, Hollins said, he is not impressed.

“Every day we come in contact — when I walk down the street, I see celebrities all the time,” he told reporters. “I mean, they’re just people that everybody sees on TV. Does that make them better people? They have more money than you, does that make them better people?

“It doesn’t make them better than you. I know a lot of people with money that I wouldn’t want to hang with.”

Hollins sure sounds like he would be a blast to hang out with parties.
