NFL Holiday Wishes: What If Each AFC Contender Could Receive One Gift?

Every NFL team could use a nice present this holiday season. The playoff-bound teams are no exception.

While some postseason teams look like legitimate Super Bowl contenders, others have glaring weaknesses that could prove problematic. The one common thread across the board, however, is that every team has flaws that need addressing before the NFL’s single-elimination tournament begins.

So, what if each of the AFC’s contending teams could receive one gift from Santa Claus this year? What would each team wish for in order to improve before the playoffs?

Matt Chatham made a list and checked it twice in a Christmas Eve article on FootballByFootball.com. The holiday wishes obviously vary by team, though the San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs all have one thing in common as the NFL season enters its 17th and final week.
