The Cincinnati Bengals at the Cleveland Browns is an important AFC North matchup, sure. But it’s not exactly a marquee NFL game.
At least it wasn’t, until the Browns named rookie Johnny Manziel their starting quarterback Tuesday. The hype surrounding Johnny Football’s first career start instantly makes Bengals-Browns a game to watch, and that fact is reflected on this week’s NFL TV schedule maps.
According to 506Sports.com, several local TV stations scrambled to change their early FOX game to Bengals-Browns — including, apparently, the entire state of Texas, from which Manziel hails.
