The moneyline opened with New England at -190, with it settling no higher than -192. The total is set between 50.5 and 51.5 points.

The OddsShark Computer predicts a 36-27 Patriots win, which would result in a Patriots cover and the OVER. The Patriots spent a rare week on the road, traveling straight to San Diego from Green Bay. New England is 5-11-1 against the spread in its last 17 road games but 4-2 ATS in its last six games against San Diego. The Chargers are 8-1 straight up in their last nine home games but 5-4 ATS in those same games.

Three games have the home favorite with a 10-point spread, marking the biggest spread for Sunday. The Detroit Lions are favored over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, just the ninth time since 1992 Detroit has been favored by double digits. The Lions are 6-2 SU and 3-5 ATS in such games. The New Orleans Saints are favored over the Carolina Panthers, marking the 11th time since 2010 they have been favored by double digits. The Saints are 7-3 SU and 5-5 ATS in the previous 10 games. Finally, the Denver Broncos are favored over the Buffalo Bills, marking the 14th time the Broncos have been double-digit favorites in the Peyton Manning era. They are 12-1 SU and 8-5 ATS in the previous 13 games.

The Houston Texans are one of the bigger road favorites Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, sitting at six to seven points on the Week 14 NFL betting lines. This marks the 23rd game Houston has been a road favorite since returning as an expansion franchise. The Texans are 15-7 SU and 10-11-1 ATS in such games. The computer predicts a 23-13 Texans win.

The biggest road favorites are the San Francisco 49ers, favored over the Oakland Raiders by between 8.5 points and 9.5 points at the sportsbooks. This the fourth time in the Jim Harbaugh era that San Francisco has been favored by at least a touchdown on the road. The 49ers are 2-1 SU and 1-2 ATS in the previous three games.

Two spreads are set at even — the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Arizona Cardinals and the New York Giants vs. Tennessee Titans.
