Rajon Rondo’s introduction to the Dallas Mavericks has not been seamless, as the team is just 3-2 since acquiring him in a trade with the Boston Celtics. But getting acquainted with Dirk Nowitzki, Monta Ellis and the rest hasn’t been Rondo’s hardest adjustment.

“Learning everybody’s name here on the staff,” Rondo told SneakerWatch.com. “Other than that, on the court it’s been fine. It’s basketball at the end of the day, and I’ve been here everyday, twice a day, just learning the system and getting up to speed.”

It certainly will help Rondo once he no longer has to thank “what’s his name” for shagging balls after practice or asking “yo, dude” to get him a fresh pair of socks from the equipment room.
