Aaron Rodgers, Packers Should Be Vulnerable To Seahawks Defense’s Attack

On paper, the Seattle Seahawks have every advantage over the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers’ lingering calf injury only makes Seattle’s advantages more stark.

The Seahawks cannot afford to be complacent, though, because anything can happen in the playoffs. Former NFL linebacker Brady Poppinga sees vulnerabilities in the Seahawks’ own impressive resume.

“Seattle’s No. 1 defensive ranking is propped up by a final-10 stretch of regular-season games against anemic-to-average opposing offenses, only one of which was a top-10 scoring unit,” Poppinga writes on FootballbyFootball.com. “Seattle must attack Green Bay, (which) has the No. 1 scoring offense in football opposite this … stout D.”

Poppinga outlines the Packers’ porous run defense and Rodgers’ calf as particular areas the Seahawks must attack to come out with a win in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
