“DeflateGate” is in full swing, and everyone’s got jokes.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, the NFL currently is investigating the New England Patriots for allegedly deflating footballs during their 45-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.

The news has spawned all sorts of hot takes, from the thought that Bill Belichick more or less cheats all the time to the belief that the Patriots should be banned from the Super Bowl if found guilty (no, really).

On Tuesday, the controversy went corporate, as online retailer Amazon took a not-so-subtle shot at the Patriots on Twitter.

We see what you did there, Amazon. Of course, the company didn’t directly mention the Patriots by name, but given the tweet’s timing, it’s pretty obvious what’s going on here.

Amazon apparently wasn’t the only corporation with the idea for such a brilliant joke. Bed Bath & Beyond weighed in with a similar tweet, although it made its intentions quite clear with a nice #DeflateGate hashtag.

Brace yourselves, Patriots fans. We have a feeling this is only the beginning.
