The Boston College Eagles will look to halt a two-game straight-up losing streak when they hit the hardwood against the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday at BankUnited Center.

The Eagles dropped to 0-2 against Atlantic Coast Conference rivals following their disappointing 61-60 loss to the Pittsburgh Panthers on Tuesday night, but rewarded bettors with an against-the-spread win in that contest as 2.5-point underdogs at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Eagles remain distant 1000/1 longshots to win the 2015 national championship on the college basketball betting futures as they prepare for their weekend matchup with the conference rival Hurricanes.

Boston College has struggled against Miami lately, going 0-8 SU and 2-6 ATS in its last eight meetings and suffering double-digit losses in five of its last six dates with the Hurricanes.

Miami is off to a strong 10-4 start but dropped an 89-80 decision to the Virginia Cavaliers last weekend in its first tilt of the season against an ACC opponent. Overall, the Hurricanes are a worrisome 2-4 SU in their last six games, including three outright losses as betting favorites.

The Eagles return home following their date with the Hurricanes to take on the Ivy League’s Harvard Crimson next Wednesday night. Boston College has lost six in a row to the Crimson, both SU and ATS, dating to 2009, and will have its hands full against a Harvard squad that’s off to a fast 9-3 start but has posted just three ATS wins so far this season.

No. 1 Kentucky will look to strengthen its position as a 10/11 betting favorite on the odds to win the 2015 national championship when it takes on Texas A&M on Saturday. The 14-0 Wildcats needed overtime to claim an 89-86 win over Ole Miss on Tuesday night, failing to cover as heavy 22.5-point favorites on the college basketball betting lines and dropping them to 8-5-1 ATS on the season.

The 9-4 Aggies are coming off a devastating 65-44 loss to No. 23 Arkansas, dropping them to 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.
