Jimmy Butler sure knows how to end a quarter.
The Chicago Bulls breakout star is having a career year, averaging career highs in points, assists and rebounds per game, and he proved once again Monday night why he’ll likely be making his first All-Star appearance in February.
But it was Butler’s defensive skills that were on display against the Houston Rockets, as the Bulls guard blocked the heck out of James Harden’s three-point attempt at the end of the first quarter, sending Harden to the floor.
Shortly after Butler embarrassed Harden, he got things done on the other end of the floor as he threw down an impressive alley-oop on Dwight Howard.
Butler finished the night with 22 points, five rebounds and three steals to lead the Bulls to a 114-105 win over Houston.
