As far as entertainment goes, it doesn’t get much better than Japanese game shows. As far as soccer goes, it doesn’t get much better than Lionel Messi. Combine those two, and you have yourself an awesome video.

The Barcelona and Argentina star graced a Japanese game show recently, and he apparently was tasked with the casual feat of booting a soccer ball 18 meters into the air and controlling it on his foot without letting it hit the ground.

We’ll let you guess how he did.

As the game show’s graphic of a large building kindly points out, 18 meters is nearly six stories high. Messi calmly lifted the ball over a lofty barrier — no small feat in itself — tracked the ball down and corralled it with an amazingly soft touch.

We have no idea what anyone is saying here, but we’re guessing they’re pretty darn impressed.
