Saturday’s slate of NBA action featured a Boston Celtics reunion out on the West Coast.
Rajon Rondo’s Dallas Mavericks visited Doc Rivers’ Los Angeles Clippers — the first meeting between the two members of Boston’s 2008 championship squad since they joined their new respective teams.
Rondo found his former coach for a quick hug before tipoff.
Another ex-Celtic was in attendance, as well, as Glen “Big Baby” Davis joined Rivers in L.A. last season.
