If Danny Ainge has his way, the Boston Celtics are not finished making deals.

The Celtics still are “actively looking” to trade Jeff Green and Brandon Bass, Sporting News’ Sean Deveney reported Friday, citing league sources. Of course, this is nothing ground-breaking — both players have been on the trade block for about a year, as Deveney noted — and there is doubt over how valuable a return the Celtics could get for either player.

With the trade deadline less than two months away, though, Ainge appears to be in prime deal-making mode. The ink is barely dried on the paperwork for the trade that sent Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks and already rumors of the next potential deal are trickling out, proving Ainge and the Celtics aren’t satisfied to rest on the nine first-round draft picks they could have over the next four years.

It’s also clear that nobody on the roster is untouchable. Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk reportedly were part of trade talks last summer, as was the draft pick that became Marcus Smart.

Even Brandan Wright, whom the Celtics acquired as part of the Rondo swap, can be had for the price of a draft pick, according to Sporting News.
