There will be plenty of Super Bowl experience at Gillette Stadium on Sunday night.

The New England Patriots will attempt to reach their sixth Super Bowl since 2001 when they face the Indianapolis ColtsĀ in the AFC Championship Game at 6:40 p.m. ET.

Ahead of that matchup, the Patriots have named former players Tedy Bruschi, Ty Law and Troy Brown honorary captains for the game.

“It is an honor to play in Sundayā€™s AFC Championship Game in front of our home crowd,” Patriots owner Robert Kraft said in a statement. “We love that we are able to include three of our franchiseā€™s most popular players in the pregame ceremonies. I think our fans will really enjoy expressing their appreciation for all the success those three players represent. I am so glad they could each be here to help us in yet another quest to win a championship.”

Bruschi, Law and Brown all were integral pieces in New England’s three Super Bowl victories in 2001, 2003 and 2004, and were the last three players to be elected into the Patriots Hall of Fame.
