Tom Brady’s success is a result of many factors, perhaps none greater than his desire to prove people wrong.

Brady’s story is well-known by now. He was a late-round draft pick who used that perceived slight as motivation. He obviously ascended to unparalleled heights while evolving into one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history.

Despite all of that success, though, Brady has no issue finding motivation. He still clearly takes being slighted to heart, and when the Patriots were being chastised after a slow start to the season, Brady responded with his best play of the season.
