FOXBORO, Mass. — It didn’t take long for Tom Brady’s emotions to kick into overdrive.
Brady, who threw down an emphatic spike after a first-quarter rushing touchdown, carried his emotions into the second quarter of the New England Patriots’ AFC divisional-round playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens at Gillette Stadium.
Brady was sacked twice on New England’s first drive following their first touchdown. The quarterback wasn’t particularly happy about one of the sacks, and he took his frustration out on one of the officials.
Brady got tangled up with a couple of Ravens players while at the bottom of a pile. He stumbled several times before getting to his feet, after which he sought out an official and gave him an earful.
The Patriots started slow against the Ravens, but the game quickly became chippy after New England jumped on the scoreboard with Brady’s first-quarter score.
